You are probably right that ALL of Booth's movements on April 14 are known only to him and God. However, a great researcher and scholar, Art Loux, spent a good portion of his life tracking those movements and many others.

Unfortunately, Art died just after signing a publishing contract. His daughter carried the project to fruition, and John Wilkes Booth Day by Day was released this past March. If you can obtain a copy, I think you would find it very enlightening. Through the years and now through his book's publication, Art has helped many of us in the field to connect the dots regarding the activities of JWB.

Art believed Booth entered through the doorway to Box 8. In his book he wrote, "With his single shot derringer in his right hand, he walked through the open door to Box 8, turned left, and immediately shot President Lincoln in the back of the head at close range."
