That is nice looking, he has a good face. How did you find it? So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in? |

RE: Show us your Lincoln collectables!
I confess I don't understand what might be the appeal of Lincoln with the bones. Am I missing something?

Your not missing anything, they just sell strange/different designed pillboxes and cigarette cases. Perfect for keeping "Blue Mass" pills.
Here's the same thing only with Edgar Allen Poe http://www.amazon.com/Victorian-Medical-...995&sr=1-5 another Lincoln design for a cigarette or money clip http://www.amazon.com/Abraham-Lincoln-Al...3&sr=1-119 So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in? |

RE: Show us your Lincoln collectables!
Found this on ebay a while back and purchased. It is a replica of a dessert plate from the Lincoln White House china. In my opinion, the Lincoln china is the most attractive of all the various sets of White House china. I think that Mary Lincoln was the one that decided on the color scheme. Way to go Mrs. L!

Since I have everything I need but little space I rarely buy household items (unless to replace a broken piece), but even I would like to have and actually purchase one of these. |

We have been selling the reproductions of this china for years, and it is very beautiful. I have resisted some of the larger pieces for years also. Unfortunately, the company that we bought from (Woodmere) has been bought out. No word yet as to whether they will continue to produce the various administrations' sets of china.

RE: Show us your Lincoln collectables!
I bought a photograph album a couple of days ago that belonged to a family in the Lancaster, Pennsylvania area. The first and last photographs are these two popular carte-de-visites of Lincoln:
I was really surprised to win this one. I expected to be outbid, especially in this the 150th anniversary week. |
