One person who missed getting in some photos was Reignette. It was so nice to meet her; she is a lovely lady, and I encouraged her to keep writing her children's book on Mr. Lincoln.
Another lovely lady was there from this forum - Lincoln Wonk - another delight. We truly have a warm and friendly group of people on this forum. I think we all deserve a group hug.

We SHOULD always have a group photo taken at each conference -- only DON'T let me be the photographer, please!!

Many, many thanks to all for a wonderful conference. Everything was just great: the engaging presentations, the schedule, the venue (especially the friendly hotel staff), and the opportunity to meet fascinating - and talented - folks.
Sorry I didn't get to meet you, Betty, but, as with the others, I enjoyed your intriguing presentation. (In fact, my family very much enjoyed your recent article in the Surratt Courier) And Dave, you do indeed have been blessed with a wonderful speaking voice (and I liked your bow tie). When will we see you on the History Channel?
I was very much impressed with your grandson, Laurie. He reminded me of my nephew (and trust me, that is a compliment.)
My only regret is that I didn't find this conference years ago.

Hit every supermarket big and small in the area before the conference. No luck.

Try Cracker Barrel !! They have them - AND Cheer Wine!!
