RE: Presidents and First Ladies Trivia - RJNorton - 08-03-2021 08:01 AM I am sorry, Eva and Michael, but the correct answer is another President. The correct one came later than your two guesses. RE: Presidents and First Ladies Trivia - Joe Di Cola - 08-03-2021 11:51 AM McKinley RE: Presidents and First Ladies Trivia - RJNorton - 08-03-2021 12:43 PM You are correct, Joe! Well done. With his wife, Ida, by his bedside, President William McKinley's last words were, "Good-bye, All! Good-bye! It is God's Way. His will be done." McKinley had been shot at the Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo. He was taken to the Milburn house where he lingered for several days before dying. RE: Presidents and First Ladies Trivia - RJNorton - 08-05-2021 03:23 PM No googling, please. On the last day of his life this former President spent time in the morning working on a jigsaw puzzle of George Washington. Not feeling well he went up to his room to lay down very early in the afternoon. Shortly thereafter, his wife found him dead on the bathroom floor adjacent to his bedroom. His cause of death was a heart attack. Who was he? RE: Presidents and First Ladies Trivia - Anita - 08-05-2021 04:03 PM Was it Woodrow Wilson? RE: Presidents and First Ladies Trivia - AussieMick - 08-05-2021 09:46 PM Harry Truman? RE: Presidents and First Ladies Trivia - RJNorton - 08-06-2021 03:41 AM Neither answer is correct, but they are close in that the death of the correct President happened in the 20th century. RE: Presidents and First Ladies Trivia - Wild Bill - 08-06-2021 05:51 AM Warren Harding RE: Presidents and First Ladies Trivia - RJNorton - 08-06-2021 05:53 AM Very close, Bill, but it's not Harding. |
