It's Spring!
In an attempt to sway everyone from the nonsense once again being resurrected (April...resurrection....get it?) on the assassination forum, I wanted to show these. My mother always had tulips when I was growing up, but for some reason I never planted any. Last winter., Cheryl decided she wanted some, so we bought these at Home Depot. They just opened up this week. We have others in containers around the yard, but these are the ones doing the best.
We now return you to the unfortunate nonsense. Best Rob Abraham Lincoln is the only man, dead or alive, with whom I could have spent five years without one hour of boredom. --Ida M. Tarbell
I want the respect of intelligent men, but I will choose for myself the intelligent. --Carl Sandburg

RE: It's Spring!
Beautiful! We have to plant our tulips in the fenced back yard. While they mostly leave our daffodils alone, the deer think the tulips are candy, and will even pull them up by the roots!

Nothing touches my daffodils - are they poisonous? |
