Excellent memory, Susan! Kudos. Yes, several years ago we had a discussion of whether the man on the right (second floor) in this photo was Louis Weichmann (in the building where he worked - Office of the Commissary General of Prisoners). An enlargement leads one to wonder; no 100%
conclusion was reached although most folks felt there was a definite resemblance.
Kudos, Betty! Yes, it is an older Joseph Hazelton. He was the program boy at Ford's. He handed programs to the Lincoln party as they entered the theater. Earlier in the day John Wilkes Booth had talked with Hazelton in front of the theater. He later became an actor himself. Apparently he was a believer in the "Booth escaped" theory.
