I think Laurie has expressed the sentiment and affection that each and everyone of us has for you and what you have accomplished.

For me, I am happy and proud to be a very small part of it.

I've found in life that there are givers and there are takers. You just can't beat a superb teacher.

This site is one of the best places on the Internet. And the paver is a much deserved thank you.

Oh my...I just got up, and I cannot believe what I am reading. I am humbled and honored by your generosity. I am speechless and totally surprised ("shocked" might be a more accurate word). Friends, thank you for your kind words! I am not good at extemporaneous speaking or writing; just know how very much this is appreciated. I will remember this forever. My wife does not get up for another hour; I cannot wait to tell her.

This is a well deserved public recognition for all that you have done and continue to do. Considering some of the "interesting" people we have had on the forum, your patience and politeness has been quite a personal example for all of us, in addition to your example of enthusiasm and knowledge in sharing about the life of Abraham Lincoln.

I am looking forward to adding this new site to visit for this years Springfield Tour.

My understanding from the ALPLM is that the paver will be laid in October and they will send a photo of it once it is done.
