I was surprised to see Lincoln's letter to Mary Owens would be available for sale.

I understand she's not to pleased about it.


If it's the actual letter, it will probably be pretty expensive.

Gene - Actually, I am more interested in the Rutledge-Lincoln letters.

Would those be the letters Wilma Minor helped Lincoln write to Ann?

This absolutely amazed me - I would have thought such unique documents to be safely and soundly archived in some educational institution's library.

That leaves me out.

A lot of the items sold at that auction.
