RE: Trivia Advent Calendar
Just found this and found this worth sharing - a painting of the 1863 depiction of Stuntz Toy Shop. If you look closely you'll see Abraham Lincoln inside the shop purchasing a Christmas gift for Tad:

That is a wonderful painting, Eva! Thank you for posting it. Stuntz' store is mentioned in this short video.

RE: Trivia Advent Calendar
My eyes are not seeing these clues very well, Eva. Wild guess - the carriage William Seward was riding in when he had his accident on April 5, 1865.

RE: Trivia Advent Calendar
Looks like it could be an early Lincoln automobile

So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in?

RE: Trivia Advent Calendar
That was a very good guess, Roger (I admit this clipping was intended to also look like a carriage...), but Gene is correct (kudos, Gene!) - it's a 1922 Lincoln L series Touring Sedan:

The Lincoln Motor Company was founded by Henry Leland and his son, Wilfred Leland, in August 1917. Leland named the new company after Abraham Lincoln, his hero and for whom he cast a vote in 1864. In 1922 the company went bankrupt and was purchased by Ford.

RE: Trivia Advent Calendar
December 21 - today is the day I'm celebrating more than Xmas! Winter solstice, the beginning of the road to summer - to long, warm and bright days, blooming and green natur, birds' singing...nature is coming back to life...and the differences in daylight length will soon be visible! Time to sing: http://vimeo.com/50021850

Catch a glimpse of summer now, and please let me know what you think this is:
