You could easily suffocate in that contraption. Specially if you were bladdered.

They might sell better if they printed the face of the conspirators on them.

I shall now use that term when describing George Atzerodt's behavior -- even though I think he was functioning well enough to know the difference between right and wrong and chose the former in the end.

Another useful UK expression for being blind drunk is 'Trollied'.
