I've always heard there was only one photo made of Lincoln's death bed. This thread clearly shows there were at least two photos taken. Scroll down.

Hi Joe,

That's some fascinating stuff. I have saved that site to my Favorites list...thanks!
Thanks, Joe. I remember buying Twenty Days in the 1960's and seeing the Ulke photo for the first time. I will never forget that memory.
Thanks Joe, included in this collection is a period photo of the back of Lincoln's home in Springfield. I don't remember seeing that before. (page 9)

We've talked about the wallpaper in the death room before, where Roger posted photo's of the death room. (an interesting thread)

(The chair next to the bed has been moved slightly between photographs)
Hi Joe, I am going from memory here. The second photo was discovered in the not so distant past in the belongings of a relative of Henry Ulke, in Europe (Ireland?). along with some other documentation that gave rise to the theory that Henry, not Julius took the photos.
Thanks, Rich. That's fascinating it was only recently found. I've never heard that and am surprised it didn't make a bigger ripple in the news.
