Saving Lincoln
I've been following the development of the movie "Saving Lincoln," the story of Ward Hill Lamon's attempts to protect the President. http://www.savinglincoln.com/

Laurie, will you be selling the DVD or should I buy direct?

RE: Saving Lincoln
We have not received any information on wholesale procedures. We are also awaiting word about Killing Lincoln DVDs. The whole month has been taken up with conducting inventories and ending FY13 by June 30.

It kills me to say this, but if you want speedy service on Saving Lincoln, you might want to buy direct.

RE: Saving Lincoln
I too have followed the making of this movie concurrently with the making of "Lincoln" and "Killing Lincoln"--much more indie and much lower budget the the later two. I too have been unable to see it to date due to minimal distribution. Most of the scenes were shot with a green screen and civil war era photos were added as background in post-production.

RE: Saving Lincoln
Hi guys, we are indeed available now on DVD and Blu-ray at SavingLincoln.com and Amazon. Laurie, my producing partner, Reuben, can connect you with our wholesale products. I believe we're already available at the ALPLM, Ford's Theater and Gettysburg Battlefield. You can reach him through info (at) savinglincoln dot com. We are honored to be mentioned here at the LDS, and I hope you'll all enjoy the film!

BTW, I plan to attend the Lincoln Forum Symposium in November, and I look forward to meeting some or many of you there!

RE: Saving Lincoln
I just finished "Saving Lincoln" and highly recommend it. The use of incorporating scenes from actual photographs was unique and quite good. Lamon tried his best to save Lincoln and we can only speculate as to how his presence at Ford's would have affected Booth's plan.
