Knox College conferred on Abraham Lincoln an honorary degree of Doctor of Laws on July 3, 1860. In 1861 Columbia University did the same. In 1864 what additional educational institution gave an honorary Doctor of Laws degree to President Lincoln? |

Did it have anything to do with the Morrill Act? In other words, was it a land-grant college?
