RE: Assassination Trivia
Rich - I went from the bridge to the Dimmick Inn and turned around. That stretch is like the Ho Chi Minh trail for Pete's sake. When the days get longer, I'd appreciate it if you could show me Jennie Gourlay's grave.

RE: Assassination Trivia
Sure thing! I can also show you where her home was. There is a picture of her giving an interview to a reporter on her porch. It burned down circa 1990. Her son's home still stands. Vivian (the son) kept the Lincoln Flag there till he donated it to the historical society. Jeannie's sister Maggie (also in the play) lived in the little town of Lumberland, NY, just across the Delaware River. She is also buried there (in Lumberland).

RE: Assassination Trivia
Thanks, Rich. I'll call you in a month or so. That would be neat to do.

RE: Assassination Trivia
When Booth was killed, he was found to have a bill of exchange from the Ontario Bank (in triplicate). How much money was this bill of exchange for?

Hint #1: He is in Ed Steers' Lincoln Assassination Encyclopedia.

I don't recall ever seeing this photo before, Roger. I'm going to need another clue.

RE: Assassination Trivia
Dave, it is a name you will definitely be very familiar with as he is in all Lincoln assassination books.

The image was sent to me by another forum member. In the accompanying letter, the forum member wrote that it is "possibly a previously unpublished image from a family descendant."

Hint #2: He is buried in New York.

RE: Assassination Trivia
His uniform seemed to be blue, but it's hard to tell. I'll guess M.B. Ruggles.

Nope, Joe, it's not Ruggles.

RE: Assassination Trivia
Roger,

Is it John Atzerodt? He sort of looks like George.
