North Korea's state media evidently don't know anything about Abraham Lincoln!

It is an interesting choice, however. Was Lincoln chosen because it was known that Obama admires Lincoln- therefore serving to rebuke him by his own historical hero? Or is Lincoln so admired the world over that he was chosen for the task?

I would guess because Obama admires Lincoln. The "letter", taken from that perspective, would carry a more stinging rebuke.
