Your Prayers Are Needed
Many of you have met Mary Mudd McHale, a great-granddaughter of Dr. Sam and daughter of Dr. Richard D. Mudd. I received a quick note today asking for prayers and support. She was on her way to Florida to be with her son who is struggling with brain cancer.

Oh God...that is awful. Why does it seem like this horrific disease(brain cancer) is claiming more people than ever?

So sorry to hear this news Laurie. What a horrible disease cancer. I will put both Mary and her son on our pray list at church. My best friend has been fighting this disease for a year now and the way it changes your life is immeasurable. My prayers go out to both families.

I was shocked to read how ill he is. I had no idea that he is NINETY years old...he's so active on the national and world stage I assumed he was younger.

My dad died of liver cancer when he was fifty. He suffered terribly. Former President Carter and his family need all the prayer they can get.Sad
