I wholeheartly agree on and confirm this! Everywhere I experienced the most helpful, friendly, polite, welcoming, respectful, and hospitable people imaginable - and so lighthearted, and positive! And smiling! They just make you feel good and happy. Such a difference to Germany.
Gary, may I ask where you are from? BTW, Dr. Mudd's home was one of my favorites on the tour, too. Such an idyllic place, but what a haunting "background".
Good Morning Eva, I am originally from Johnstown, PA. But moved here to Vineland, NJ when I was about 10 years old. As for Dr. Mudd's home in a strange way it made me feel tranquil. I was sitting in the back yard just looking at the beautiful scenery and thinking about what had happened in this home that made it now a part of our history. It was just so surreal. Eva, may I assume that you were originally from Germany?

Hi Gary, thanks for your reply. I felt exactly the same at the Mudd House - the contrast of scenery and history is surreal. Yes, I am from Germany - still. I was just fortunate to travel to your wonderful country.
