RE: Conspiracy Trial Casting Call
I don't "DO" social media much (except for Twitter) but this DOES seem very interesting. I attended the same scenario about four years ago in Gettysburg - a complete rendition of the trial which was held in a church there. It was fairly good - and was approximately 5 hours long! But it was the complete trial....this is the same group - so it is a definite MUST SEE!

I'm wondering how McNair is sanctioning this..... I'll find out - since I'm working with the committee on the 150th.....

This sounds like a lot of fun! I wished that I lived closer to the area.I did a mock trial competition with kid's teams years ago.

RE: Conspiracy Trial Casting Call
Since I'm not on Facebook, can someone tell me where the reenactment will be held?

RE: Conspiracy Trial Casting Call
June 20, 2015, at Grant Hall in Fort McNair. The trial will be broadcast live to an audience in a tent erected outside Grant Hall. (I hope it makes its way to YouTube.)

RE: Conspiracy Trial Casting Call
Thank you Susan and Betty! I notice that the part of Mary Surratt has already been cast.

RE: Conspiracy Trial Casting Call
Rats, I was hoping that BettyO would get that part.

If they don't give Phil Roberston (Duck Dynasty) the role of Edwin Stanton, I'm not going. Cool

So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in?

RE: Conspiracy Trial Casting Call
Years ago, Barry Cauchon and I had a bit of fun casting the conspirators and others - Here is what we came up with....

Betty O The people you matched up were really very good. Nice job. Good luck to all in this new venture. I also hope that some how we would be able to see the reenactment. Best to all

RE: Conspiracy Trial Casting Call
I can't take all the credit for the portrayals -- Barry Cauchon did a LOT as well.....we were just goofing off on a "slow day" -
