Seward Attack
The travel channel has an episode on tonight (Friday, March 6) that MAY be of interest to Lincoln assassination buffs. It is the series "Mysteries at the Castle." One of the segments is "Seward Attack." I'm not sure if this is the Seward we all know of or some other unrelated Seward. In my area, Eastern time zone, it airs at 8 PM and repeated early AM.

OMG! I watched this last year and it was absolutely dreadful! All wrong - Lew Powell being captured while writing a letter in what appears to be someone's (Mrs. Surratt's?!?) tool shed! Big Grin

Good memory, Betty! We had a discussion of this last year.

Thanks, I missed this last time. Every now and then I enjoy a program so bad that's it's fun to watch.
(anyone remember Plan 9 From Outer Space?)

So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in?

Gene,

Plan 9 From Outer Space is a classic. Were you a fan of Mystery Science Theater 3000? I loved that show and still watch it on DVD from time to time.

Oh, Yes! Plan Nine is one of the worst and one of my favorites! If anyone has never seen this - please find it and watch...it's the most hysterical B grade (more like an "F" grade!) movie ever made and made as "serious" horror; not comedy! By the way, it was made on a $500.00 budget! A Spielberg production it was not.... My favorite - the aluminum pie-plate flying saucers and the aliens walking around in "Prince Valiant" surplus costumes!

I have a lot of sound bytes from it.... "Your Stupid minds, Stupid - STUPID!!" Such great dialogue.....

Dave, my son and I used to watch Mystery Science Theater 3000. We loved it.
Glad that you and BettyO have validated my taste in movies.

I was a fan of Mystery Science Theater. My daughter and I watch Svengoolie. He hosts the old B horror flicks. We love it!
