Laurie, there didn't seem to be as much of a crowd as I would expect. Maybe it was the cold weather. What do you think Thomas?

I thought Michael Krebs gave a great performance.

I think maybe the cold weather played a factor or there aren't enough people with the same interests. I was seated on the far right of the front row. I accidentally sat in a reserved seat. Confused Whoops!

The cold may have had something to do with it, and I was happy to see some young people standing up somewhere. However, given both the ever-warming temperatures (I hope) and the public's love of murder mysteries, I suspect that the assassination events will draw bigger crowds.

April 14 is a Tuesday, and Surratt House is generally closed to the public on Tuesdays - unless we schedule in a special tour or a children's group. This year, however, I am keeping it open for tours in case we get some of the overflow from downtown.
