Are you referring to Bettie Page the pin-up model?

I have to give a special shout out to Jim Garrett for being a such wonderful guide to all the Atzerodt sites up in Montgomery County. Due to him I was able to add a whole bunch of George related sites to my Lincoln assassination map.

By the way, here is Kate, Jim, and I at Clopper Mill, where George Atzerodt spent the night of April 15th on his way to his cousin, Hartman Richter's, home. The old mill is in ruins now, but Jim and I still decided to see what sleeping here would have been like.
Dave, your map is fantastic! (Wish such a map would exist for all Lincoln sites, too!) I had never been aware the Atzerodt sites are located that far north. Just an idea - would it be possible to provide a link on the bottom of each "pop up info window" to the articles you dedicated on your blog to the respective site? (I would find that helpful.)

Dave, I love old mills - what sort of mill was Clopper Mill? Grain? Or oil? How was it driven? By horses? (All historic mills I've seen were wind- or water mills, but this was certainly neither nor.)

Bettie Page became a Christian in the mid 1950's and left the world of modeling. She seemed to just drop out of sight. Quite a change in direction. Angel

So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in?

Exactly. If I am not mistaken, Ms. Page's story is another fascination of James Swanson - along with the Black Dahlia.

Betty Page was found some time ago and interviewed by the man who'd located her. She insisted she not be photographed, as the last public photos of her were taken when she was a young model. She died a few years ago.

Dave has his new Boothie carol up. It's a version of Silver Bells about Thomas A. Jones. He has the Dean Martin version to sing along to but as an Elvis fan, I went with his version.

Sing along with the King. An ad for dishwasher pods or candy may show up.
