RE: Booth's other Deringer pistol story
Sounds like something Booth would give to Spangler to help him in his escape.

RE: Booth's other Deringer pistol story
This is one of numerous pistols attributed to Booth. Those of you who attended last year's conference may remember that I related accounts of a second Deringer pistol being found:
--on the stage --behind the stage --in a water barrel --in the alley --down the street --on Booth's body Booth was better armed than the Army of the Potomac. The pistol in nomann's post is now the property of Ripley's Believe It or Not. Last time I checked, it was on display in their New York City museum. |
