Fascinating! I remember Bert Sheldon - he was a very affable and knowledgeable guy and I have some old cassette recordings (courtesy of the late John Brennan and Art Loux), which I've now converted over to digital to listen to on my iPod. They are recordings of talks that Bert gave to various historical societies (including early Surratt Society) back in the late 1970s to 1980s.....
