Exhibit Booklet
Surratt House opened its new exhibit on Between The Lines: Southern Maryland in the Civil War on February 1. There is an accompanying booklet that visitors receive. If members of this symposium would like a complimentary copy, please e-mail your snail address to me at laurie.verge@pgparks.com. Nothing fancy, but some good information given from the personal side.

RE: Exhibit Booklet
Laurie, I received my copy of your booklet in the mail today and can't wait to read it! It's a doozie!

I wasn't expecting something this comprehensive.

Thanks very much!

RE: Exhibit Booklet
Wait til you see all that text and graphics as a wallpaper exhibit on three walls of our exhibit room at the historic house. That room was originally Anna Surratt's bedroom and leads into the small room over the kitchen wing where the guns and supplies were originally hidden as part of the abduction plan - which John F. doesn't think existed.

Wow! That I have to see. Of course, I'm the guy who was too chicken to try to climb into that little room when I toured the tavern. I have sport coats bigger than that room.
