Photograph of President Lincoln and Tad - signed
Online bidding that started last week in celebration of Presidents’ Day at RR Auction, an auction house in Boston.

“There’s also a photograph, only one of three that exist, of Lincoln and his son, Tad Lincoln, signed by the president that is estimated to fetch about $75,000.”

Note: It is the famous photograph of President Lincoln and Tad looking through a book of photography. But I do not know the name of the book. The photograph was originally taken on February 9, 1864, by Anthony Berger in Mathew Brady's Washington D.C. studio.

I noticed there is a 25% buyers premium.

I like to own that but my wife would probably kill me for spending that much.
On the flip side, that might increase it's value, which could help pay her lawyers fees. She'd probably get away with it to, by pleading temporary insanity.
I think I'll just pass on this one.

So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in?

Yes, David. I have seen a lot of sources get this wrong, incorrectly saying it's "Abraham Lincoln Reading The Bible To His Son Tad."

We would have all said such good things about you, Gene.

Thank you David.
Fido agrees with you.

I did notice they also have at auction a large lock of Lincoln's hair.
I did question my barber about a possible hair transplant.
He said there was a cheaper solution, but they couldn't guarantee it would be successful, and I would probably be disappointed in the results.
