Lyon Gardiner Tyler Jr., grandson of President John Tyler had died on September 26 at the age of 95. His father, Lyon Gardiner Tyler Sr. (1853-1935) was President of William & Mary College and wrote many articles attacking Lincoln. Years ago , I purchased a copy of a essay the elder Tyler wrote entitled "John Tyler and Abraham Lincoln: Who was the dwarf?". It was inscribed by him in 1930.
