My afternoon adventure
This hasn't been my year.

I just got home after spending 4 1/2 hours in the emergency room. I had to go because this morning I had a dull steady pain in my abdomen. It wasn't a sharp pain or shooting pain, but given the year I've had, I thought it might make sense to get it checked out. I drove from work to my wife's workplace (the distance between the two is short) and told her she needed to take me to the hospital. They took blood and did a CAT-Scan, both of which were OK. They believe it is a gastrointestinal virus. I'm supposed to eat bland food for a day or two and if it doesn't clear up then go back.

I've had my fill of doctors and hospitals.

Thanks Mike. It wasn't a really good day for either of us.

Thanks all. I am feeling somewhat better this morning. Luckily, we're both on vacation this next week.
