I haven't pursued this activity, but a friend gave me a back issue of this magazine, and I found it quite interesting.

The August/September 2018 issue has an article they thought I might enjoy, "Inside Jokes: Perusing Cartoons of the Past. The entire magazine was interesting and also included an article about "Online Newspaper Research". For many of you it probably had nothing new, but I found it informative. Most of it was about Newspapers.com

Too many interesting articles and items to mention. I probably won't rush and order a subscription, but my local library has it, so yours may too.
