I'm betting that it's in a book written by Ed Steers, but I don't know which one. Ed has done a great deal of genealogical and biographical work on Lincoln.

We are being picked up by the neighbors in 10 minutes, and I need to get ready. We are off to Captiva Island for the evening. No more computer today. People can keep guessing if they want, but I won't be able to reveal the answer until tomorrow, assuming someone gets it right.

I hate when he does that. And is it just me, or have his trivia questions gotten harder since there's some Lincoln lore in there aside from the assassination related ones? I'm very rusty on Lincoln. The man knows his stuff there, for sure.

i've lived in worse places than that....but i was raised in a home dating back to 1867 that was in an Alexander Gardner photo as he moved through eastern kansas on his famous cross-country expedition
