Promotion of it seems to be a sort of bait-and-switch: "Karl Marx and Abraham Lincoln exchanged letters at the end of the Civil War...." No, they did not.

I'm getting tired of telling people on Facebook that Lincoln and Marx did not correspond. I think, perhaps, the mendacious promotion of this book is partly responsible for that idea
