As you Garrett's should all remember, Billy the Kid looked like a steely eyed cub scout, but he could should out the eye of a gnat and was meaner than tar when necessary. Did your relative really shoot the Kid while he was making love to one of his numerous girlfriends? What a way to go!

Point well taken. Part of the kid mystique was his disarming demeanor. He was...The Kid. As far as the true story of the kid's demise, Pat shot the Kid through an open window. Pat knew he was in there from the squeaking of the bed springs. A fair fight with the Kid? Couldn't happen.
