Redivivus (Paperback) – October 31, 2016
by Nikolaus Klein (Author)

It is the year 2063, and a genius scientist who is obsessed with Abraham Lincoln attempts to clone the long-deceased president--yes, clone him! Dr. Dr. Dr. Anton Bauer--yes, thrice a doctor--is fixated on this scientific conquest, and his ambition leads him into the past, into the mind of Lincoln, and into the depths of his own depravity.

Redivivus--Latin for being reborn or brought back to life--follows this wicked protagonist as he chases his dream from the halls of academe through rural Illinois to the nation's capital--with side journeys to London and Rome. And along the way, perceived enemies, unfortunate companions, misanthropes, and a host of others meet untimely and bizarre fates. Various disasters threaten to derail the quest, but the evil doctor is never deterred as he and Honest Abe navigate a precarious future.

Many books have chronicled the fascinating life of Abraham Lincoln, but only Redivivus projects what Lincoln would be like if brought back to life in 2063--wait until you read who does what to whom!

RE: Redivivus
That sounds like fun!!!

I have recently read "Abe Lincoln: Public Enemy No. 1" and the follow up by Brian Anthony and Bill Walker and must admit that I enjoyed both books in this series quite a bit. Mostly because they gave Lincoln a good voice. Many fiction authors, understandably, shy away from that.
It is a nice break from some of the heavier reading every once in a while. And now I have a new one to look forward to!

In case of emergency, Lincoln and children first.
