I, as well as most of our forum members feel that history doesn't have to be boring and dull - one can have FUN with history as well! I'm very serious about my research and study - but I also love the "quirky" side of history too, as all of my colleagues will attest!
Here is a "close up" of the rather scary scene which used to be at the Gettysburg Wax Museum - note the badly "aging" Booth figure! Most of the figures appear to be balding, etc.....as for Clara Harris - she appears to be wearing some sort of apron....
In the 1960s, Woodward and Lothrup in DC had a window display set up for the Civil War Centennial in which the assassination was recreated.....
