I'm jumping into the 20th century with this post, but found this article in the Detroit Free Press announcing the death of another of the famed Tuskegee Airmen:

Thanks for posting this Laurie. I'm very familiar with the places mentioned in and around Detroit as mentioned in the article. He was a patriot and great American.
