RE: Statue Trivia
Return kudos to you, Roger. You are correct. There is a replica of the original in Parque Lincoln in Mexico City, presented to the people of Mexico in 1964 by President Lyndon Johnson (and paid for by the U.S. taxpayers).

Mick - the only copy of the statue that I know of in the U.K. is in Parliament Square in London.

Roger, the statute in Manchester is a different statue, sculpted by George Grey Barnard (1917). The one in London, Abraham Lincoln: The Man was sculpted by Augustus Saint-Gaudens (1887), and I believe that it is the only replica of that sculpture located in in the U.K.

RE: Statue Trivia
Bill, you are absolutely correct. I misread what was said thinking you were saying the Lincoln statue in London was the only Lincoln statue in the U.K. My bad.

Let's try one more...in what country is this Abraham Lincoln statue located?

RE: Statue Trivia
This was a tough one, and I think I shall give the answer.

The statue is in Israel.

No googling please.

This statue of Abraham Lincoln is not located in the United States. In what country is it located?

RE: Statue Trivia
Hint#1: Although the hands in the image may both appear to be Lincoln's...they are not. Lincoln is shaking hands with another (statue) person whom I cut out of the image.

RE: Statue Trivia
Given that England is too obvious, and given Mike's recent question, I am going to say it is located in Eastern Europe. Maybe Poland?

You are both on the right track. The correct answer is east of your guesses.
