They opened the box from 3-5 AM.

While it is still fresh in your mind write down your thoughts about it. Your memory of last night will fade over time and in later years you will enjoy reading and remembering. Years from now you will be glad you did.

Thanks! Working on that paper right now, Gene.

Probably meeting Colin Powell, Dave Taylor, Kate Ramirez, David George, Mike Kauffman, and Paul Tetreault.
An awkward run in with my ex girlfriend was also a highlight.

Very nice meeting you too. Nice pictures !! I was going to post some of my own but I have been swamped since my return. It was great meeting with so many fine folks. Myself I could do that vigil every year and it never would get old.

Thanks! I wish Ford's could do this every year.

Thanks for posting your photos Thomas! By the way, you made an appearance on television as well. I saw you on the live C-SPAN feed.

Really?! Was it the nighttime coverage?

Yes. After giving my talk on the 14th, I went home and watched the evening coverage - so it was after 9:15 pm. You were talking to a woman. I looked like maybe you were leaning over a roped off area to talk.

RE: The Lincoln Tribute Photo Album
I was next door to the Petersen House at the Bistro d'OC. That is where I got the picture of Harold Holzer and Judy Collins entering. Speaking of that picture I was reminded of a Tweet in the Boothie Barn Twitter page of Alex Trebek snoozing during a ranger talk at Ford's Theater. It's pretty hilarious:
