RE: Mourning Lincoln
I tend to avoid books with "a Cultural History" in their title.
If you want cultural history, go to Wal Mart on Saturday So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in? |

This might save you some money. I didn't find much said about Mourning Lincoln in that Times review. The reviewer kept hopping back to the "unique" emphasis on Lincoln's body's impact on American history - the subject sounds a little weird to me. Could it be that we are running out of ways to interpret Abraham Lincoln? |
