That is such a fantastic article by the late Mr. Loux, thoroughly debunking the theory that somehow links Stanton to the breakdown of the telegraph lines the night of the shooting.

However, as long as the likes of Bill O'Reilly are out there claiming just the opposite in inaccurate pseudo-historical best-sellers like "Killing Lincoln", I'm afraid people will continue to be misinformed.

Way to go Herb. It couldn't go to a more deserving person.

So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in?

I agree, and posted so on BoothieBarn. Those of us who know Herb know that, in addition to loving the study of the Lincoln assassination, Herb also loves life and education and helping others.

I also am delighted that Dave Taylor has the caring and generous nature of the original gang of Boothies under the tutelage of Hall and Brennan. Some people and events within the past decade or so have had me worried about the lack of integrity that was creeping into our field of study. It's nice to know that there are still nice people who enjoy sharing and caring.

Amen, Sister Laurie!

Dave does indeed remind me greatly of how we were as a younger group of Boothies or "Booth Buffs" as we used to reference ourselves back in the "Hey Day...."
