RE: Silas T. Cobb
Since Jim warned me about jumping to conclusions, are you hinting that Cobb's death was not so accidental?
What truth did Cobb know? So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in? |

Gene, I've said all I know against the backdrop of what was happening at the time. The secret of the passes led to Johnson's impeachment. Read my book and draw your own conclusions. |

Fair enough. Where is the best place to order a copy? I need to get my wife something that I'll enjoy for her birthday.

You can order from the Surratt House, Amazon or https://www.createspace.com/3493265 While you're at it why don't you buy your wife some power tools too. I'm sure SHE'd appreciate them. |

RE: Silas T. Cobb
To cliche'. Besides I did that last year. My wife does a lot of volunteer work with the local county emergency services.
Storm weather spotting, missing person searches, disaster relief type things. She has been down to the gulf coast for huricane relief with red cross and has been out several times (including Joplin, MO) for tornado recovery. I get to stay home and take care of the dogs, which is fine with me. So when is this "Old Enough To Know Better" supposed to kick in? |

RE: Silas T. Cobb
Somehow, I think if someone put a hit out on Cobb, they would have done it in a way that others would not be collateral damage. But maybe there WAS a hit out for him, and his drowning really was an accident BEFORE, the hit could be executed!

They couldn't execute a hit in two years?? Booth certainly did better!
