I loved Joan's story on the Pearl and Laurie's tale of the insurrection.

Let me know next month if you are still having a problem and if you would like me to email you my copy.

Male problems huh? That reminds me of a song

Got my Courier on Saturday. I think Laurie has mail problems and not male problems, Gene.

Thomas is right, Gene. I got rid of my male problems years ago...

RE: Surratt Courier
I got my February Courier in the mail today where I saw a certain Lewis Payne lookalike's name in the new members list. Speaking of problems, this reminds me of a song:

Please allow me to point at some IMO interesting additional information and photos here to the article about the French medal honoring MTL in the latest Sourratt Courier:

One of the leading committee members was Victor Hugo.

RE: Surratt Courier
I received my Surratt Courier in the mail yesterday. "Vielen Dank" for pointing out the article, Eva. It looks as though the French Emperor Napoleon III wasn't very happy about the medal. So, it had to be struck in Switzerland.

RE: Surratt Courier
I received my June Courier today.

Thank you, Laurie, for including my Tassy Award news.

The Awards Ceremony is tomorrow night. It will be interesting to see if I meet any other Booth buffs there.

The June issue went in the U.S. Mail on June 23. We pay for first class mail every month (nearly $1000) - and every month the delivery service gets worse. We have about 6-8 newsletters returned to us every month, marked as undeliverable, not known, no such address, etc.

When we track the folks down, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the address we used. We then have to resend it in a large envelope and pay postage once again. I think we're being scammed.

RE: Surratt Courier
And kudos to Laurie for "Free at last, Lord, Free at last."

Regarding the mail...copies of the Surratt Courier, the Journal of the Lincoln Assassination, and the Lincoln Herald all arrived at our home on the same day this week - definitely a first - never happened before.
