I agree with Anita. Cleveland served as sheriff of Erie County, NY, in earlier years and believed in doing the same type of work he expected from his subordinates - including serving as an executioner.

One of the local TV stations here in D.C. is currently running a prize-winning come-on based on Cleveland's image on a $1000 bill. Early every morning, they announce a secret word. If you are the 9th caller to identify the word, you win $1000. Since I absolutely despise early mornings (any hour before 10!), I will never win that prize.

For the sake of a paycheck, I do manage to stumble around by 7:30 each morning. During my teaching years, my homeroom class began at 7:30. My morning students got cheated, I think, because I did not become the dynamic teacher until after 10 am. One class decided that I should teach night school! However, that would have cut into my party hours...
