Over the years my wife got so sick of my playing Phil Spector's Christmas Album over and over in the car she has formally banned it! So nowadays I can only play it when I'm driving alone.

It's amazing to me how someone who is so talented is also so crazy, but I guess sometimes that goes hand in hand.

At least until I got older and it grew on me. My favorite version of " The Little Drummer Boy," was by Ray Charles.

I also believe that there are great versions of songs that should be outlawed to sing by other artists.

Blue Christmas - Elvis
White Christmas - Bing Crosby
Oh Holy Night - Faith Hill ( debatable )
Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas - Judy Garland
Holly Jolly Christmas - Burl Ives
The Christmas Song - Nat King Cole
Do You Hear What I Hear - Johnny Mathis
Baby It's Cold Outside - Ray Charles and Betty Carter

I'm sure there will be some disagreement.

I have to agree with you on those, Mike. There are also a number of songs I would love never to hear again. "Last Christmas" by Wham tops that list.

I would have to go with The Chipmonks Christmas album. The whole thing. I am going to be hearing it in my sleep. The kids love it and today has been the day we got out the tree. It should be classified as a torture technique. Another one I could go without ever hearing again is the one with the Italian Christmas Donkey.
