Any truth to this from the article in the New York Post linked to above?
"Some went to extremes to make an impression. One, a Miss Becket of Richmond, Va., cut off her hair and gifted it to Booth just before she died of typhus in 1860. He made it into a stage wig that he wore for the rest of his life."

Abel’s book cites the Atlanta Constitution, December 4, 1881, 9. The book says only that it was reputed to be his favorite wig, but mentions nothing about him wearing it for the rest of his life.
