It is not this movie. The movie is not about Abraham Lincoln, except "in a tangential way."

I have no idea what this movie is about, but let's try With the Abraham Lincoln Brigade in Spain (1937-1938).

I figured it had to be about the Spanish Civil War, so here's a blurb from Google:

The Abraham Lincoln Brigade

ALB group photo

During the Spanish Civil War (1936-39), almost forty thousand men and women from fifty-two countries, including 2,800 Americans volunteered to travel to Spain and join the International Brigades to help fight fascism. The U.S. volunteers served in various units and came to be known collectively as the Abraham Lincoln Brigade.

This is the correct answer. The Library of Congress is supposed to make the announcement today. It was #25 on the list of 25. And, if the Library of Congress makes entries every year, this movie has been waiting to be voted into the Hall of Fame on many occasions, heretofore. I wonder why it made it this year after all of this time. The truth would make an interesting backstory.

Fighting fascism meant fighting the new weaponry and military tactics of Nazi Germany as a prelude to World War II. It was the idealism of Abraham Lincoln carried down through the decades pitted against the weapons of modern warfare at the time.

“With the Abraham Lincoln Brigade in Spain” (1937-1938)

This advocacy documentary about the Lincoln Brigade was shot during the Spanish Civil War to raise funds for bringing wounded American volunteers home. Some 2,800 Americans enlisted in the International Brigades to fight against fascism in defense of the Spanish Republic. The film was directed by Henri Cartier-Bresson with Herbert Kline and additional photography was provided by Jacques Lemare and Robert Capa. This film is held at New York University’s Tamiment Library and is part of a vast collection of materials in the Abraham Lincoln Brigades Archive.
