I'm sure it was good for its time (Young Mr. Lincoln), and I may look at it from to critical of a historical point of view.
This movie overflows with melancholy.
On the Springfield Tour, we have visited the real Ann Rutledge grave sight. They must have redirected the river since the movie was made, it's not there now.
