Thank you, Dave. I was going by James Lamb's testimony where he says "not less than 80 feet." Was the exact length ever mentioned at the trial?

Detective Charles Rosch testified to retrieving it from Spangler's home and it was, "found to contain eighty-one feet". Apparently, "the twist was very carefully taken out" of it, too.
