Superintendent of Police A.C. Richards maintained he was sitting in the Dress Circle when Booth shot Lincoln. I believe at least some historians doubt his word. Does anyone know of any eyewitnesses at Fords who can verify Richards' account that he was present in the theater when the assassination took place?
