RE: Lincoln Assassination Tours
For many years the Surratt Society conducted the Booth Escape Route Tours (BERTs as they are known to the folks who helped put them together) from Washington D.C. to Caroline County, Virginia. Dave Taylor was one of the most popular narrators. I had the pleasure of assisting Dave on several of those tours. (I've lost track of the count of how many.)

As Dave said, with Laurie's death, COVID (and I would add Joan Chaconas' retirement), the Surratt Society curtailed the BERTs, and has lacked the staff to get them reestablished. It is A LOT of work.

I very strongly commend Dave for doing this. Because I know the quality of his BERTs, I recommend that you visit his website (LincolnAssassinationTours.com) for more information about his upcoming tours for 2026.
