I'm as strong a supporter of responsible climate management as anyone, but what in the world does this have to do with Lincoln?

The first line of my 6-19 post on this thread reads as follows: "I think that President Abraham Lincoln’s principal strength was logical analysis, including the trending of important factors affecting any issue under consideration."
