The issue includes 1865 newspaper reports (remember, that's how you learned information in the mid-19th century) about Lincoln's assassination. Although many of those articles have appeared in a number of books over the years, I don't believe they have been collected in a single source.
In addition, the issue has the Zoom link to the 2025 Annual Conference, on Saturday, April 5, from 2:00 - 4:30 p.m. (E.T.). After a brief business meeting for the election of officers for the 2025-6 term, there will two presentations: Paul Severance will speak on the trial of the assassination conspirators; and Frank Gorman will speak on the effort to exhume Booth's body from Green Mount Cemetery in Baltimore.
